By downloading, installing, or using Study Support ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (End User License Agreement). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Premium subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. Your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires. Previous trial users are not eligible for additional trials. Unused portions of free trials are forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are at Apple's discretion.
You retain all rights to the content you create using the App (recordings, transcriptions, notes, exam packs). We do not claim ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to record and transcribe any audio, including obtaining consent where required by law.

The App uses artificial intelligence services powered by OpenAI (GPT-3.5 Turbo, Whisper, and Text-to-Speech). By using AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:
The App uses iCloud to sync your data across your Apple devices. By using the App, you agree that your content will be stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data. iCloud usage is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions.
We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features, services, or the entire App at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STUDY SUPPORT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Study Support is designed as a learning and study assistance tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with your educational institution's academic integrity policies, honor codes, and examination rules. We are not responsible for any academic misconduct or violations resulting from your use of the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App and purchase subscriptions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and cancel your subscription.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Study Support regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Apple Standard License Agreement: This App is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.
